THE SOUND OF ONE HAND CLAPPING? We believe in the East and the West, but let's not lie: The East is way more mint. So when a fatal attraction-esque doctor in a lab coat needed an identity for her new Chinese medicine practice, we were only happy to take the needle.
The project started with a simple business card that was die-cut with a silhouette of an acupuncture needle.
She mentioned that many doctors in her field use floral or nature motifs to calm clients who might be anxious about acupuncture. So, naturally, we took our needle and created a simple rotating pattern that hints of flowers and is organic and natural.
When that became on overnight success, the good doctor decided to expand into a full identity set.
According to the doctor, our chi was flowing and our yin and yang was in divine order. Which was good to hear, because we’re scared to death of needles.
